Babies come to us in such a variety of ways. It is always so endearing to hear the journey of each family up to this point. Some are fast and easy; some are long and gut-wrenching. Capturing baby's first moments in your life is equally monumental in marking the end of your journey to motherhood, the beginning of motherhood itself, and the start of this beautiful little one's new life. No matter what lies in store for them down the road, one thing remains true for them all. They were once this tiny, this perfect, this breathtakingly beautiful. They were newborns. They had wrinkles and fuzz and features that would never again be the same. And we captured it before it was gone.
Happy Babies Newborn Session
A gentle, peaceful experience that is a blend between studio posing and lifestyle prompts. Sessions are flexibly held based on your Estimated Due Date, and then confirmed once baby arrives, ideally in baby's first 10 days, Families may choose to visit my in-home studio in Peoria, Arizona, or have me bring pre-selected styles to be photographed in the comfort of your own home. Either selection allows access to my personally curated client closet, or assistance with curating your own special look. Sessions vary, depending on baby (they run this show, afterall) but typically last between 2-3 hours. Approximately half of that time is spent transitioning between sets & outfits, or comforting & feeding baby, and the other half is actual camera work. Prior to your session, you will receive my Happy VP Guide to help you prepare for your Happy Baby session and make the most of our time together while keeping your sweet little one safe and content. If you would like images with additional family members, we will schedule those in the first 20-30 minutes of your session. Then family can be released and we will focus on creating a quiet environment for the star of the show!
